Quality of Life Consultations

If you’re unsure whether it’s time to consider euthanasia, we offer dedicated quality of life consultations. These compassionate evaluations assess your pet’s comfort, mobility, appetite, and behaviour, helping you understand when your pet may be experiencing more pain than joy. Our goal is to help you feel supported and informed—never rushed.

Compassionate Euthanasia

When the time comes, we offer humane euthanasia in a quiet, private setting within our hospital. We explain every step beforehand and use gentle sedation to ensure a peaceful, pain-free passing. You may choose to be present with your pet or say goodbye privately—whatever feels most comfortable for you.

Cremation Support

We offer cremation support services and work closely with trusted local providers to coordinate aftercare with respect and dignity. We’ll walk you through your options, including communal or private cremation, and help you make arrangements that align with your wishes and values.

A Quiet, Respectful Environment

Our end-of-life appointments are scheduled with extra time to allow for privacy, reflection, and peace. Your comfort matters just as much as your pet’s. We aim to provide a gentle, unhurried space, honouring your companion’s memory and your family’s grief.

Considering In-Home Euthanasia?

While we do not offer house-call services, we’re happy to discuss whether in-home euthanasia might be right for your pet and refer you to a local mobile veterinarian if needed. Your pet’s comfort and dignity always come first.

You’re Not Alone in This

Grieving a pet is a deeply personal process—and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed. Our team is here for you with empathy, patience, and resources to support your healing. If you need additional help, we can suggest trusted grief counsellors or support groups in Ontario.
